  • Is Fictional Wanderlust a licensed bookish shop?

    We are! In order to support the authors we love for the hard work of their art, we make sure that we are licensed with them when applicable.

  • What does it mean to be licensed?

    Being a licensed shop means that we have permission directly from the author to create and sell products that are based from their work.

    A percentage of sales is then given to the author in return for their permission to sell items from their work.

  • Does Fictional Wanderlust offer any discounts?

    We may offer discount codes during holidays, special occasions, or just because.

Products

  • What brands do you use?

    We currently use an assortment of brands for our merchandise. Each individual listing will note what brand is used. Typically the brands we use are; Comfort Colors, Lane Seven, Bella & Canvas and Gildan.

  • Sizing

    We use multiple brands of shirts, so each product sizing varies. We suggest looking at the size charts listed on each individual product listing.

    Generally speaking, all brands are true to size, unisex fit. For an oversized look, we recommend sizing up one size. For a t-shirt dress look, we recommend sizing up two sizes.

  • Does Fictional Wanderlust have giftcards?

    We do! Check out our gift card listing HERE!

  • Does Fictional Wanderlust offer any clearance items?

    Yes! We do offer clearance or 'imperfect' items on our clearance page. Be sure to check this page often as it is constantly changing.

  • What is an imperfect item?

    These are items that contain variations of imperfections from stitching to faded screen printing, or washed out t-shirt colors and crooked images.

    To avoid waste, these items are heavily discounted. Although imperfect, they are still great items that are perfectly wearable.

    Imperfect and clearance items are a final sale. They are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Shipping & Orders

  • Do you ship internationally?

    We do! For International orders, please shop via our ETSY site! Domestic orders are welcome to use our website OR Etsy.

  • How long will it take to receive my order?

    The current turn around time is about 3-4 weeks. The time begins when an order is placed until it is shipped. This does not include the time that the package is in transit. Once shipped, it could take an additional 1-2 weeks to arrive.

    Buyers will receive an email notification once packages ship.

  • My item arrived damaged. What do I do?

    If your order arrives damaged, please reach out to us within72 hours of order delivery.

    All items go through a quality check before leaving our facility to ensure there is no damage and that all items meet our strict standards of approval before shipping out. If damage occurs during shipping, we are not responsible for damages. However, we understand that these things happen and can be extremely disappointing. To help our loyal customers with this, we will replace an item at the cost of shipping fees paid by the buyer after documented photos of damages and proof of order/receipt.

    Please note that replacement of damaged items could take up 2-3 weeks to complete.

  • My order is incorrect or missing items. What do I do?

    If your item is incorrect or missing any items, please email us at: shopfictionalwanderlust@gmail.com

    Please be sure to add your order confirmation number in the subject line.

  • My order is lost or marked as delivered but hasn't arrived.

    Unfortunately the mail system is a littly finicky at times. Occassionally an item will be marked as delivered but wont' show up for a few days later. Please allow an additional 2-3 days for package delivery after the order is marked delivered.

    If the package is still missing after day 3, please email us at: shopfictionalwanderlust@gmail.com and include your order number in the subject line.

  • Does Fictional Wanderlust accept returns?

    Returns are accepted for a full refund within 30 business days of order delivery. But please reach out to us if there is an issue with your order. We offer returns on unworn, unwashed shirts with tags still attached, and proof of receipt or order.

    Items we do not except returns on:

    --Printed materials (stickers, art prints, bookmarks)

    --Sale or imperfect items

    Customers are responsible for all return shipping and handling fees. We are not responsible for lost or missing return packages.

    Final sale items such as gift cards, clearance or imperfect items are not eligible for return or exchange.

    Please note that the return process will not start until the item you are returning arrives back to our facility. Be aware that it could take 2-3 weeks for the return to be completed and funds refunded to your account.

    Please reach out to us at shopfictionalwanderlust@gmail.com if you would like to exchange your order. We will recommend starting a return for your item (return shipping fees apply) and purchase the desired item in a new order.

  • How do I request a return?

    1.Log in to/create your account:

    2.In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.

    3.In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.

    4.Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.

    5.Click the order that you want to submit the return for.

    6.If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.

    7.Select a return reason and add a note for the store.

    8.Click Request return.

    -If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label.

    -Once we receive your return, we will refund you the total for the items minus the cost of return shipping fees.
