Is Fictional Wanderlust a licensed bookish shop?
We are! To show our support for the authors whose work we love, we ensure that we are properly licensed with them whenever applicable.
What does it mean to be licensed?
Being a licensed shop means we have obtained direct permission from the author (or their representatives) to create and sell products inspired by their work. In exchange for this permission, a percentage of the sales is given to the author as compensation for using their intellectual property.
Does Fictional Wanderlust offer any discounts?
We often offer discount codes during holidays, special occasions, or just because!

What brands do you use?
We use a variety of brands for our merchandise, and each individual listing will specify the brand used. Typically, we carry products from brands like Comfort Colors, Lane Seven, Bella & Canvas, and Gildan.
Sizing
Since we use multiple brands for our shirts, sizing may vary slightly between products. We recommend checking the size charts on each individual product listing for the most accurate fit.
In general, all our brands offer a true-to-size, unisex fit. For an oversized look, we suggest sizing up one size, and for a t-shirt dress fit, we recommend sizing up two sizes. We also try our best to provide inclusive sizing for all body types.
Does Fictional Wanderlust offer any clearance items?
Yes! We do offer clearance and 'imperfect' items on our Clearance page. Be sure to check this page regularly, as it is constantly updated with new items and deals!
What is an imperfect item?
These items may have variations of imperfections, such as stitching flaws, faded screen printing, washed-out t-shirt colors, or crooked images.
To reduce waste, these items are heavily discounted. While they may have imperfections, they are still fully wearable and great items at a reduced price.
Please note that all imperfect and clearance items are final sale and are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Shipping & Orders
How long will it take to receive my order?
The current turnaround time is approximately 3-4 weeks, starting from when an order is placed until it is shipped. Please note, this does not include transit time. Once shipped, it may take an additional 1-2 weeks for your package to arrive.
Buyers will receive an email notification once their package has shipped. Keep in mind, Fictional Wanderlust is a small, one woman-owned & operated business, so processing times may be longer than those of larger companies. Thank you for your patience and support!
My order is incorrect or missing items. What do I do?
If your item is incorrect or missing any items, please email us at: shopfictionalwanderlust@gmail.com.
Be sure to include your order confirmation number in the subject line to help us assist you more quickly.
My item arrived damaged. What do I do?
If your order arrives damaged, please reach out to us within 72 hours of delivery.
All items go through a thorough quality check before leaving our facility to ensure there is no damage and that they meet our strict standards. Unfortunately, we are not responsible for damages that occur during shipping. However, we understand how disappointing this can be and want to support our loyal customers. If damage occurs, we will replace the item at the cost of the shipping fees, with the buyer covering these costs. To process this, please provide documented photos of the damages along with proof of your order/receipt to shopfictionalwanderlust@gmail.com.
Please note that replacing damaged items may take up to 2-3 weeks to complete.
My order is lost or marked as delivered but hasn't arrived.
Unfortunately, the mail system can be a bit finicky at times. Occasionally, an item may be marked as delivered but won't show up for a few days. Please allow an additional 2-3 days for package delivery after the order is marked as delivered.
If the package is still missing after 3 days, please email us at: shopfictionalwanderlust@gmail.com and include your order number in the subject line. We'll be happy to assist you!
Does Fictional Wanderlust accept returns?
Returns are accepted for a full refund within 30 business days of order delivery. However, please reach out to us if there is an issue with your order. We only accept returns on unworn, unwashed shirts with tags still attached and proof of receipt or order.
Items we do not accept returns on include:
Printed materials (stickers, art prints, bookmarks)
Sale or imperfect items
Customers are responsible for all return shipping and handling fees, and we are not responsible for lost or missing return packages.
Final sale items, such as gift cards, clearance items, and imperfect items, are not eligible for return or exchange.
Please note that the return process will not begin until the item you are returning arrives back at our facility. It may take 2-3 weeks for the return to be processed and for funds to be refunded to your account.
If you would like to exchange an item, please reach out to us at shopfictionalwanderlust@gmail.com. We recommend starting a return for your item (return shipping fees apply) and purchasing the desired item as a new order.
How do I request a return?
1. **Log in to or create your account:**
- In the *Email* field, enter your email address, then click *Continue*.
- Check your email inbox for a message from our store and copy the six-digit verification code provided.
2. **Verify your account:**
- Return to the store and enter the six-digit verification code.
3. **Select the order:**
- Click on the order for which you want to submit a return.
4. **Choose the items for return:**
- If your order contains multiple items, select the ones you wish to return.
5. **Provide a return reason:**
- Choose a reason for the return and add any relevant notes for the store.
6. **Request the return:**
- Click *Request return* to submit your return request.
7. **Receive shipping instructions:**
- If your return is approved and requires shipping, you will receive an email with return shipping instructions and a shipping label.
8. **Refund process:**
- Once we receive your return, we will refund the total cost of the items, minus the return shipping fees.
